Mumbai Horror: Man Stabbed to Death in Juhu, 6 Arrested; Teen Attacked Over Holi Balloon in Dombivli

Mumbai: A 25-year-old man, Gaus Iklaq Patel, was brutally stabbed to death by a group of nine individuals over an old dispute in Prem Nagar, Vile Parle. Patel, who had an earlier altercation with the accused, went to meet them on Saturday with his brother and friends to resolve the issue. However, the situation escalated into violence, and Patel was fatally attacked with a sharp weapon and a bamboo stick. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.

The Juhu police have arrested six suspects, while three others remain on the run, with police actively searching for them.

Dombivli Attack Over Holi Balloon

In another shocking incident, a 17-year-old boy in Dombivli was stabbed by a 20-year-old man, Prayan Jadhav, after a Holi water balloon accidentally hit him. The attack took place on March 13 in Sagaon when victim Harsh Kamble was playing Holi with his friends. Enraged, Jadhav confronted Kamble, dragged him to a secluded area, and stabbed him in the hand before fleeing.

The Manpada police have registered an FIR against Jadhav under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and efforts are underway to locate and arrest him.
