Mumbai Women Set Guinness World Record with ‘Free Your Hair’ Campaign

Mumbai, India: In a historic event on March 10, over 500 women came together to set a Guinness World Record for the Most People Untying Their Hair Simultaneously as part of L'Oréal Paris’ ‘Free Your Hair’ campaign. This initiative, held in Mumbai, aimed to empower women and raise awareness about scalp health, a concern affecting millions globally.

The campaign highlights the common issue of oily scalps with dry ends and promotes a new hair care range formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid to cleanse excess oil while maintaining hydration for up to 72 hours. The movement encouraged women aged 18-45 to embrace hair care without compromise and share their experiences.

Dario Zizzi, General Manager at L'Oréal Paris India, emphasized the importance of recognizing scalp concerns like excess oil and dandruff, which impact nearly 50% of adults. He stated, "With this new range, we are redefining what it means to have healthy, hydrated hair. This Guinness World Record attempt symbolizes confidence and empowerment for women everywhere."

Beyond breaking records, the ‘Free Your Hair’ movement stands for liberation, self-expression, and the evolving landscape of modern hair care, reinforcing the importance of personalized hair solutions and overall well-being.
