Murder Accused Confesses to Killing Two More, Including Another Minor

Mumbai, Maharashtra,Wadala: A chilling confession has emerged in the murder case of a 12-year-old boy in Wadala, as the accused, 39-year-old Bipul Shikari, admitted to killing two more people, including another minor and a friend. Shikari, who had been on the run since the gruesome murder of Mohammad Shahzada Ansari, was arrested in Delhi on August 21.
Shikari reportedly lured 12-year-old Shahzada away on January 28, 2024. The boy’s mutilated body was discovered in the mangroves near Bhakti Park on March 4. According to the Wadala TT police, the accused confessed that he killed the child out of anger because the boy had been stealing items Shikari hid after his thefts.
After Shikari's arrest, police initiated an extensive search operation in the mangroves near Bhakti Park, digging across 30 meters over eight days in November, but no further evidence was found. Authorities are now considering soil testing and analyzing mobile location data linked to the accused to strengthen their case.
The investigation has revealed Shikari’s involvement in two other murders. Police officials are now working to uncover more details and gather additional evidence.
The case has sent shockwaves through Mumbai, raising concerns about child safety and the need for vigilance in local communities.
