Pedestrian Injured in BEST Bus Accident Near Mantralaya

Mumbai, Churchgate: A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a BEST bus near Mantralaya on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 PM when BEST bus number 113, en route from Churchgate station to Backbay Depot, came into contact with a man walking on the left side of the road while talking on his phone.

The pedestrian sustained head injuries and was promptly admitted to JJ Hospital. Authorities have reported that his condition is stable.

Police officials have stated that the accident happened as the pedestrian collided with the bus door. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
