In a strategic move aimed at expanding its footprint, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday launched the Karnataka Milk Federation's (KMF) flagship Nandini brand milk products in the Delhi-NCR region. This marks the brand’s entry into one of India's largest and most competitive dairy markets. During the launch event, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah highlighted the state's commitment to providing high-quality dairy products to consumers across the country, noting that the Nandini brand has long been a household name in Karnataka.
He expressed confidence that the premium quality and competitive pricing of Nandini dairy products would help the brand gain rapid acceptance in the Delhi-NCR market, where it will face stiff competition from established dairy giants. According to industry analysts, the Nandini brand’s reputation for freshness and quality, coupled with its affordable pricing, could give it an edge in capturing market share from the existing players. “We are confident that the people of Delhi-NCR will appreciate the superior taste and nutritional value of Nandini dairy products,” said R. Manohar, Managing Director of Karnataka Milk Federation.
“Our pricing strategy is aimed at offering value to consumers without compromising on quality. Nandini products are made from the finest milk sourced from farmers in Karnataka, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and freshness.” In the coming months, the brand will also roll out its promotional campaigns to raise awareness and drive consumer engagement. Additionally, KMF is working on building partnerships with modern retail chains and online platforms to make Nandini products easily accessible to a broader audience. As part of its growth strategy, KMF is also exploring the possibility of introducing innovative dairy products that cater to changing consumer preferences.
