The accident occurred at approximately 11:08 am at Om Prathamesh Building, a G+21 storey tower located on Link Road.

According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the mechanical parking system gave way, trapping two individuals underneath the collapsed lift structure. Fire personnel responded promptly to the distress call and successfully rescued both victims from the debris.

The injured were immediately rushed to BDBA Shatabdi Hospital in Kandarpada using a police van. Unfortunately, 30-year-old Shubham Madamlal Dhuri was declared brought dead by hospital authorities.
