Devotees are now facing the challenge of navigating through streets filled with potholes for the immersion procession. It seems that the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation has left the public 'in the lurch'.

After the monsoon, the roads' condition has worsened. Patchwork has been done in only a few areas, and that too seems more for show. In most places, the condition is such that the saying 'Out of the frying pan into the fire' fits perfectly. How will devotees carry out the immersion journey on these dangerous roads?This year, the Ganpati Visarjan journey has turned into a 'rickety bus ride'. The negligence of the municipal corporation has dampened the spirits of the devotees. The deplorable condition of the roads has unmasked the administration's 'all show, no substance' attitude.
