Prime Minister Modi to Launch 'Karmayogi Week' in New Delhi Today

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 'Karmayogi Week - National Teaching Week' today at around 10:30 AM at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The Karmayogi campaign began in September 2020, envisioning a future-ready civil service rooted in Indian ethos within a global perspective. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) shared a brief overview of today’s program on its X handle. A detailed description of the event has also been released by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) of the Government of India.
According to PIB, the National Teaching Week is the largest of its kind. It aims to inspire civil servants towards personal and organizational capacity development. This initiative will encourage a renewed commitment to learning and development. Its goal is to connect everyone with national objectives and promote lifelong learning. The National Teaching Week will be dedicated to learning through various forms, involving participants and ministries, departments, and organizations.
As per PIB, during the National Teaching Week program, each Karmayogi will commit to achieving a target of at least four hours of competency-based education. Participants can fulfill the targeted hours through I-GOT modules and webinars by eminent personalities (public lectures/masterclasses). Renowned speakers will provide insights on topics related to their fields. During this period, ministries, departments, and organizations will conduct seminars to enhance specific skills, along with workshops.
