Process for Formation of New Government in Haryana Begins Today; BJP to Elect Legislative Party Leader, Oath Ceremony Tomorrow

Chandigarh : The process for forming a new government in Haryana begins today. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to form the government for the third consecutive time in the state. In the presence of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, caretaker Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be formally elected as the leader of the BJP legislative party.

Nayab Saini will take the oath of office as Chief Minister for the second time on October 17, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Saini reviewed the preparations for the oath-taking ceremony yesterday. All arrangements for the BJP legislative party meeting, which will be attended by Amit Shah and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, have been completed.

After today’s meeting, a list of legislators who will be part of the council of ministers will be submitted to the Governor. Following this, the Governor will invite Nayab Saini and the ministers for the oath ceremony on October 17.
