Road Accident in Bangladesh Early Today, Five Dead, Over 27 Injured

Dhaka : At least five people were killed in a road accident in Bangladesh early today. The incident occurred in Malikpur on the Faridpur-Khulna highway. More than 27 people were injured in a head-on collision between two buses.
According to a report by the Dhaka Tribune, MD Salauddin Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of the Karimpur Highway Police Station, stated that a passenger bus named Green Express was traveling from Abdulllapur in Dhaka to Jenaidah. It collided with a passenger bus from Khagarachari coming from Shyamnagar (Satkhira). All the deceased were passengers of the Khagarachari transport bus. He reported that the injured were taken to various hospitals, with 27 of them admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital.
