Imphal:Security forces have launched a vigorous operation against the militants in Manipur. During this operation, a large amount of rockets, bomb launchers and explosives etc. have been recovered. The Union Home Ministry is waiting to receive the report of the investigation of the cases by September 20. After this, the Home Ministry can make a big decision regarding Manipur.
Manipur Police said that a search operation was conducted by the security forces in the border and sensitive areas of the hill and valley districts. During the search operation, a 7.5 feet rocket, a modified M-16 rifle, a large size indigenous mortar, a medium size indigenous mortar, three medium size bomb launchers, four bomb launchers, three bombs indigenous mortars were recovered from Shejang in Churachandpur district.
