Salman Khan Kicks Off Action-Packed Train Fight Sequence for 'Sikandar' in Mumbai

Mumbai: After an intense shooting schedule in Hyderabad, Salman Khan has returned to Mumbai to begin the next leg of filming for his highly anticipated action thriller, Sikandar. The actor, along with director AR Murugadoss, commenced work on a high-octane train fight sequence that promises to be one of the most thrilling moments of the film.

Filming for this ambitious scene began earlier this week at a Borivali studio, where an elaborate train set has been specially constructed. The sequence, which has been in pre-production for months, is expected to showcase intense, gritty action. According to sources, Khan’s character is set to take on a gang of villains in a raw, bloody confrontation. The action is being choreographed by experts with a focus on creating a vengeful, high-stakes battle that will define a pivotal moment in the movie.

A production insider revealed, “The scale of the scene is massive. Salman’s character, a ruthless businessman, faces off against a gang of baddies in a brutal, no-holds-barred fight. Murugadoss has been keen on making this sequence a signature moment in the film.” The shoot, which began on Monday with the supporting cast, saw Khan joining in by Wednesday evening, when the actor filmed the intense train fight with a crowd of around 30 people. On Tuesday, the director had already shot crowd-heavy sequences with approximately 350 extras.

Due to security concerns, the crew is filming in short bursts at each location. After wrapping up the shoot at the Borivali studio on Thursday, the team will move on to various other locations in Mumbai, with plans to continue shooting until the end of January.

Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna and features Khan as a businessman who undergoes a significant transformation after witnessing the rampant corruption in the country. The film, which promises an action-packed storyline, is set to be one of the most awaited releases of the year.

With Murugadoss, known for his hit films like Ghajini (2008) and Holiday (2014), at the helm, Sikandar is shaping up to be a high-stakes, action-driven thriller, and this train sequence is expected to be a standout moment for Salman Khan’s fans.
