Amboli, Mumbai: A 26-year-old security guard was arrested by Amboli police on Thursday for alleged misconduct involving a nine-year-old girl in a housing society. The incident, which took place on Monday, led to the registration of a case under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

During the investigation, authorities learned that the accused, originally from Uttar Pradesh, had been working as a security guard in the victim’s society. Police noted that the man has no prior criminal record.
