Sikandar Release Date: Salman Khan’s Film Set to Hit Theatres on Sunday, March 30, 2025

Mumbai: Salman Khan’s much-anticipated film Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, is all set to release on Eid this year. While the exact release date was previously unconfirmed, reports now confirm that the film will be hitting the big screens on Sunday, March 30, 2025. This marks the second time in Salman Khan’s career that one of his films will release on a Sunday, after Tiger 3, which also had a Sunday release.

According to a source close to the film’s production, Sikandar is strategically releasing on March 30 as it coincides with the festival of Gudi Padwa, which is a major celebration in Maharashtra. While Ramzan Eid will be celebrated on Monday, March 31, the Sunday release is expected to attract a large audience, especially with the post-Eid holidays creating a long weekend effect.

A source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Sikandar’s release date has been locked for Sunday, March 30. The team is confident it’s the right day, with Gudi Padwa and the holiday weekend expected to drive strong footfalls to theatres. With Ramzan Eid the following day, the film will have a solid start at the box office.”

Big Expectations for Sikandar
Directed by AR Murugadoss, who has directed successful films like Ghajini and Holiday, Sikandar has created quite a buzz ahead of its release. Fans are excited about Salman Khan’s return to the big screen, and expectations are high for the film to take a bumper opening, similar to his previous release Tiger 3, which grossed Rs. 44.5 crore on its opening day.

The film is expected to perform well over the extended holiday period, with collections anticipated to be strong from Sunday through April 6.
