Atul Parchure Remembered as a "Fine Gentleman" by Co-Stars After His Passing

Mumbai : The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Atul Parchure, a beloved figure in Marathi cinema and television, who passed away on Monday at the age of 57. After a long battle with cancer, Parchure succumbed to sudden health complications, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances and cherished memories among his colleagues.

Parchure was well-known for his roles in popular TV shows like Comedy Nights and The Kapil Sharma Show. His career spanned over three decades, during which he shared the screen with some of Bollywood's biggest stars, including Shah Rukh Khan in Billu (2009), Ajay Devgn in All The Best (2009), and Salman Khan in Partner (2007). The news of his passing quickly spread across social media, sparking heartfelt tributes from industry veterans, including Riteish Deshmukh and Arjun Kapoor.

Archana Puran Singh, who worked closely with Parchure on The Kapil Sharma Show, expressed her sorrow, stating, "I recall with great fondness the times he performed on the show. He was a tremendous performer. When he was unwell, he took a sabbatical and returned to our stage, where we welcomed him with open arms. He was a fine gentleman and a warm human being, full of positivity and optimism about beating his illness. I am saddened by his sudden demise."

Comedian Krushna Abhishek also shared his memories, saying, “Whenever there was a discussion for acts, the first name we would think of along with me and Kapil bhai would be Atul. This is really sad.”

Actor Rajiv Thakur fondly remembered Parchure’s resilience, noting that he kept his illness private until he was on the road to recovery. “Even while I was doing Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo, he would come in for a couple of episodes. He was a very good man and didn’t let us know what he was going through until he was recovering and came back to work,” Thakur reflected.

As tributes continue to pour in, Atul Parchure will be remembered not only for his remarkable talent but also for the warmth and positivity he brought into the lives of those around him.
