Silo Collapse at Kususm Steel Plant Leaves 4 Dead, Many Trapped

Mungeli, Chhattisgarh: In a tragic incident, a silo at the Kususm Steel plant in Mungeli's Saragaon area collapsed, claiming the lives of four workers and trapping several others. The accident occurred in the afternoon, as the tall cylindrical structure, used to store bulk materials, fell on a group of eight workers present at the site.

Mungeli Superintendent of Police, Bhojram Patel, confirmed the casualties and added that a rescue operation was swiftly launched after authorities were notified. As of now, efforts are still underway to rescue those trapped beneath the rubble.

This horrific accident has shocked the community, with many hoping for the safe rescue of the remaining workers.
