'Sorry Bol’ vs ‘Nasha’: Did Urvashi Rautela Start a Song Showdown?

Mumbai: Actress Urvashi Rautela, known as much for her social media antics as for her on-screen presence, is once again making headlines—this time for what netizens suspect is a veiled jab at actress Tamannaah Bhatia's latest song Nasha from Raid 2.
The controversy began when Urvashi shared a now-deleted Instagram post featuring a fan comment that compared her song Sorry Bol from Jaat to Tamannaah’s Nasha. The highlighted comment stated, “This song is far better than Nasha.” While the post vanished shortly after, screenshots had already circulated on Reddit and other social media platforms, igniting a flurry of discussion.
Several Reddit users were quick to criticize Urvashi for sharing the post, calling her move “arrogant” and “unnecessary.” One user sarcastically remarked, “Being the youngest most beautiful woman in the world, she has certain responsibilities—to always be the first to appreciate herself after any of her work releases.”
Another user pointed out the rarity of such an act, stating, “Many fans compare songs online, but no actor has shared such comparisons as an official post on their page. It’s surprising that she made it part of her feed.”
Though Urvashi removed the post, the content reportedly remained on her Instagram story for a while, further fuelling speculation about her intent.
This isn’t the first time Urvashi has found herself in the spotlight for bold statements. Just a few days ago, she claimed in an interview that she is “the best promoter after Shah Rukh Khan.” The statement sparked online trolling, with many questioning her self-praise. In the same interview, she also admitted to avoiding memes about herself to protect her mental well-being.
While neither Urvashi nor Tamannaah has issued an official statement regarding the viral post, social media remains abuzz with opinions. Whether it was a strategic move or a momentary lapse in judgment, Urvashi’s post has once again placed her squarely in the public eye.
As fans of both actresses debate the quality of their respective songs, one thing is clear: in the world of showbiz, even a deleted post can become breaking news.
