Tutor's assualt leaves ten year old girl battling for life

Vasai : A 10-year-old girl in Vasai is battling for her life after allegedly being slapped by her tutor. The incident occurred during a private tutoring session when the teacher reportedly slapped the young girl, leading to severe consequences. The child is now in critical condition, fighting for her survival. The tragic event has sparked outrage in the community, with authorities investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Ambaraam Patel (32), a grocery store owner in Oswal Nagar, Nalasopara East, faced a shocking incident involving his 10-year-old daughter, Dipika, a 5th-grade student. Dipika attends private tuition at Reena Classes in the same area. On October 5, while she was misbehaving in class, the tutor, Ratna Singh (20), slapped her hard on the right ear. The slap caused an injury to the back of her eardrum, leading to swelling and severe pain. Initially, Dipika was treated at a private hospital in Virar, but as her condition worsened, she was transferred to a private hospital in Mumbai on October 13 for further treatment.
Her father told, my daughter is currently receiving treatment in the I.C.U of a hospital She's on ventilator, and the daily cost of her treatment is nearly rupees 25000. Due to our financial difficulties we are seeking help from social organizations. He is also demanding strict actions against the tutor responsible for the assault. A case has been registered against the tutor, Ratna Singh, at Tulinj Police Station under Section 125 (a)(b) and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act. Police Sub-Inspector Vinod Wayangankar of Tulinj Police Station confirmed that a notice has been sent to the accused tutor, and further investigation is underway.
