Ulhasnagar Man Arrested for Entering Homes with Sharp Object

Ulhasnagar, India:  A man identified as Pawan Nakhwal has been arrested for allegedly attempting to enter homes while carrying a sharp object in Camp Number 3, Ulhasnagar.

Residents grew concerned as Nakhwal was seen roaming the locality for nearly a week, often entering gated houses at night. Locals collected CCTV footage from public and private cameras and submitted it to the Central police station, prompting immediate action.

"We received multiple complaints and launched an investigation. CCTV footage showed the accused moving around with a sharp object, though no stolen items were recovered from him," said Senior Inspector Shankar Avtade.

While police have not confirmed robbery as the motive, residents expressed fears that he could have harmed someone, especially those returning home late at night.
