Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh – A shocking incident has surfaced in Bareilly’s Civil Lines area, where the district president of the Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh, Vishal Thakur, along with his associates, allegedly stormed into a hotel, harassed girls, and threatened the owner. The police have arrested Thakur and two accomplices, Karan Patel and Amit Pippal, while the hunt for others involved continues.
Incident Details:

On Thursday night, Thakur and his group entered the hotel, claiming to check guests' IDs and started recording videos. They forcibly entered rooms, dragged girls out, and allegedly demanded money from the owner, threatening to make the videos viral. The act was caught on video, which later went viral, prompting swift police action.

Criminal History:
Vishal Thakur, already notorious for his criminal record, has previously faced life imprisonment in a rape and robbery case but is currently out on bail. A month earlier, he was involved in a similar disturbance in Bareilly’s Sadar Kotwali area.

Police Action:
Superintendent of Police said, "Based on the viral video and the hotel owner’s complaint, we’ve registered a case. Strict action will be taken against all involved."
The incident has sparked outrage, with many calling for stricter measures against individuals with a history of such behaviour.
