Mumbai Vikhroli Horror: Security Dog Kills Handler in Shocking Attack at Godrej Premises

The victim, 22-year-old Hasrat Ali Barkat Ali Sheikh, was employed by Marshall Dog Agency, which provides trained security dogs to the Godrej company.

On Monday morning, while performing his routine duty of walking a Great Dane within the company grounds, Hasrat Ali was suddenly and violently attacked by the dog. The entire ordeal was captured on CCTV footage, which quickly went viral online, showing Hasrat calmly walking the dog before the unexpected and aggressive assault began.

The attack lasted for approximately two and a half hours, during which Hasrat struggled to protect himself from the dog's relentless aggression. The prolonged nature of the attack made it extremely difficult for nearby employees and security personnel to intervene effectively.

Upon receiving reports of the attack, the police, along with the municipal dog squad and animal welfare groups, rushed to the scene to assist. Despite their swift response, the dog's aggressive behavior continued, making it challenging to stop the assault promptly. It was only after nearly three hours of intense effort that the responders managed to separate the dog from Hasrat Ali.

Hasrat was immediately transported to Rajawadi Hospital with severe injuries sustained during the attack. Despite receiving urgent medical attention, his injuries were too severe, and he tragically passed away while receiving treatment.

This tragic event has raised serious concerns about the safety measures and training protocols in place for security dogs. Authorities have filed a criminal case against Marshall Dog Agency, alleging negligence in the training and handling of their security dogs. Senior Police Inspector Bhagwan Dange from the Vasai Railway Police Station stated, “We are conducting a comprehensive investigation to understand why the dog behaved so aggressively. We are reviewing the training records and protocols followed by Marshall Dog Agency to ensure that such a tragic incident does not happen again.”

The Godrej company has expressed their deepest condolences to the family of Hasrat Ali. They have also assured the public that they are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
