Tamenglong (Manipur) : Security forces in Manipur are continuously running a drive against smuggling and production of drugs as well as weapons. At least 170 acres of poppy plantation has been destroyed so far in the current year.
In this connection, Manipur Police today said that security forces destroyed about 11 acres of poppy plantation in Kuilong Part 2 village and Kadi IV village of Tamei police station area of Tamenglang district. A case has been registered for further investigation in this regard.
