Aaditya Thackeray Responds to Allegations in Disha Salian Case: “I Will Speak in Court, Not Publicly”

Aaditya Thackeray, the Shiv Sena leader, has for the first time spoken out regarding the allegations about his involvement in the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Disha Salian’s family has filed a petition in court demanding a re-investigation into her death, with a hearing scheduled for April 2.
The controversy surrounding Disha’s death has been ongoing for the past five years, with allegations from the Rane family suggesting that Aaditya Thackeray was present at the scene of her death. The Ranes have continuously accused Thackeray of being involved in the incident, with claims that Disha was assaulted and murdered.
Responding to the allegations, Aaditya Thackeray said, “For the past five years, there has been a campaign of defamation against me. They have falsely accused me of being involved in this matter. Why should I respond to baseless allegations? Those who spread lies and slander will eventually pay the price for their actions. The allegations are being made with an eye on the upcoming elections.”
Regarding the question of whether he knew Disha Salian, Aaditya Thackeray said, “I will address this in court, not in public. I don’t see any reason to talk about something with which I have no involvement. I am not going to respond to baseless claims.”
When asked about speaking on the public platform regarding the case, he added, “The same people have been accusing me for five years. They think that by making false accusations, I will remain silent. They keep trying to defame me, but I won’t be quiet. I have always answered them, and I will continue to do so.”
