Amar Kaushik to Produce Maddock Supernatural Universe’s First Vampire Comedy:Thamba

Mumbai:Director Amar Kaushik, celebrated for his recent success with Stree 2, is gearing up to venture into new territory with his next production—a vampire horror-comedy set within the Maddock Supernatural Universe. In a recent interview with India Today, Kaushik revealed that the upcoming film, titled Thamba, is poised to bring a fresh twist to the genre. The project is set to commence shooting in the next two months.
Kaushik, who has previously taken on producing roles with Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga and Munjya, is enthusiastic about the new film. He commented, “The vampire film is titled Thamba. We are excited to bring this unique blend of horror and comedy to the screen.”
In addition to discussing Thamba, Kaushik also provided an update on the highly anticipated Bhediya 2. He confirmed that while the story for the sequel has been written, the screenplay is still undergoing revisions to ensure it meets his high standards.
Reports from Pinkvilla further suggest that Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna are set to star in another project within the Maddock Supernatural Universe. This film, tentatively titled Vampires of Vijay Nagar, will be directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for his work on Munjya. The film is expected to start production by the end of the year, marking the first collaboration between Khurrana and Mandanna. The script is currently in the writing phase and will soon transition into pre-production.
With these exciting developments, the Maddock Supernatural Universe continues to expand, promising audiences a fresh and entertaining take on supernatural themes.
