Bilawal Bhutto Says at Trump’s Event: "Religion Does Not Divide, It Unites

Washington, 07 February : Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the president of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), is delighted to have participated in the 'National Prayer Breakfast' event held in Washington D.C., the U.S. capital. At the event hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump, Bilawal also shared his thoughts. He described the event as an excellent opportunity for interfaith harmony and said that religion never divides; it only unites.

Bilawal shared several photos of the event on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. In one of the photos, Trump is seen addressing the event while Bilawal is seated below. Along with Bilawal, several prominent figures from around the world attended the event.

According to Geo News, the event began at 7 AM U.S. time. Bilawal shared his thoughts around 2 PM, the last to speak. After the event, in a conversation with journalists, Pakistan's former Foreign Minister Bilawal emphasized the need to strengthen public relations between Pakistan and the United States, adding that religion is a uniting force, not a divisive one. He also spoke about the sacrifices made by his family. He became emotional while recalling the assassination of his mother, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

Bilawal highlighted the role of religion in promoting unity rather than division. He said that God is omnipotent and unites us. He also mentioned that the universal message of Jesus is an integral part of both Christianity and Islam. Bilawal arrived in the U.S. on Monday to attend the event.
