Brisbane Test: India scores 260 runs in the first innings, Australia leads by 185 runs

Brisbane, December 18 : On the fifth day of the third match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Gabba, India’s first innings ended at 260 runs. Based on the first innings, Australia has gained a 185-run lead. Australia had scored 445 runs in their first innings.
On the fifth day, India resumed their innings at 252/9. The last pair, Aakashdeep and Jasprit Bumrah, added 8 more runs to the total. At 260, Aakashdeep was stumped off Travis Head’s delivery. Aakashdeep made a crucial 31 runs, while Bumrah remained unbeaten on 10. After India’s innings ended, rain began. As of the time of writing this report, the rain was still continuing.
For India, KL Rahul (84) and Ravindra Jadeja (77) played excellent innings, both scoring half-centuries. Rahul made 84 runs, and Jadeja scored 77 runs.
For Australia, Pat Cummins took 4 wickets, Mitchell Starc took 3, while Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon, and Travis Head took 1 wicket each.

Earlier, thanks to centuries from Travis Head and Steve Smith, Australia scored 445 runs in their first innings at the Gabba in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Head scored 152 runs, and Smith made 101 runs in a brilliant century partnership.
In addition to these two, Alex Carey also scored a half-century, making 70 runs.
For India, Jasprit Bumrah took 6 wickets, Mohammed Siraj took 2, and Aakashdeep and Nithish Reddy took 1 wicket each.
