Chaos on Tracks: Man Climbs Mumbai Local Train, Disrupts Services

Bandra Station, Mumbai: Harbour Line services faced brief disruption on Sunday evening as a man climbed at top of  a local train at Bandra station. The incident involved a Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)-Goregaon local train (G-55) and halted operations between 5:18 PM and 5:32 PM.

A Central Railway spokesperson confirmed, “One person, likely to be mentally ill, climbed on the coach at Bandra station. The train was stopped to ensure safety. Services have since resumed normal operations.”

Although services were quickly restored, the unusual act caused inconvenience to evening commuters. Railway officials promptly intervened to manage the situation.
