Disha Salian Death Case: Serious Allegations Against Aaditya Thackeray, Police Investigation Expected Soon

Mumbai: In a recent development, Disha Salian’s father met with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and provided detailed information regarding the circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death. The information presented is being deemed highly serious, and a police complaint is expected to be filed at the Malwani Police Station in the next 1-2 days. Key suspects in the case include Aaditya Thackeray, Suraj Pancholi, Dino Moria, and others.
Disha Salian, who was the manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, tragically passed away on June 8, 2020, under suspicious circumstances. At the time of her death, Aaditya Thackeray was a Minister, and his father, Uddhav Thackeray, was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. There were earlier speculations about Aaditya Thackeray's involvement in the incident. The tragic event occurred during a party on the night of June 8, where several prominent figures, including Aaditya Thackeray, were reportedly present. At that time, the administration allegedly suppressed the matter, and Malwani Police had not conducted a thorough investigation, according to allegations from Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nipam.
In a press conference today, Sanjay Nipam claimed that the state government’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) was looking into the case. He emphasized that the details presented by Disha Salian's father are extremely serious. He revealed that Disha Salian was allegedly subjected to gang rape before her death, and that her post-mortem was conducted three days after her demise. Her body was found 25 feet away from the building, with no visible injuries, and she was reportedly found naked.
Nipam stated that influential individuals were involved in the incident, but it was downplayed by authorities at the time. He further mentioned the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput, suggesting a connection between the two incidents. Although Aaditya Thackeray has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, claiming a clean chit from the CBI regarding the Sushant case, he criticized the handling of the Disha Salian case, alleging that the CBI was not involved in her investigation, which remained with the Mumbai Police. Nipam accused Thackeray of providing false information to the court.
Additionally, Nipam brought up the involvement of a drug racket in Disha Salian's death, citing the testimony of Samir Khan, who was arrested in connection to drug trafficking. Khan allegedly claimed during interrogation that Aaditya Thackeray was addicted to drugs. Nipam further accused the Malwani Police of failing to investigate this crucial angle. He also pointed out that the officers involved in the initial investigation should be questioned.
Nipam called for a swift investigation into the matter and the filing of a case. He further stated that Aaditya Thackeray could face arrest once the investigation progresses. He even suggested that Thackeray's name could be linked to Disha Salian’s murder.
In a related statement, Nipam also referenced the murder of a sarpanch in Beed, Maharashtra, and highlighted the demand for the resignation of Minister Dhananjay Munde, whose alleged connections to the accused were raised by the opposition. He urged that if an FIR is filed against Aaditya Thackeray in the Disha Salian case, and if his involvement in the murder is established, he should resign on moral grounds. Nipam insisted that until the investigation into this matter is completed, Aaditya Thackeray should step down from his position.
As the investigation continues to unfold, the public eagerly awaits further developments in this high-profile case.
