'Doctors' Forum Demands Apology from Abhishek; BJP Says Mamata is Evil and Must Go"

Kolkata: Amit Malviya, the co-in-charge of the BJP's West Bengal unit and head of the IT cell, has accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her family of spreading fake news. He claims that Mamata Banerjee's nephew circulated false information to undermine the doctors' protest, which is calling for justice in the RG Kar rape and murder case.

Malviya stated in his tweet that the "Joint Platform of Doctors, West Bengal" has exposed Mamata Banerjee's nephew for spreading fake news. He alleged that this misinformation was intended to incite violence and hostility against the medical community. The Doctors' Forum has demanded an unconditional apology from the Trinamool Congress leaders, accusing them of trying to suppress the doctors' protest.

Amit Malviya has also shared a letter from the doctors regarding this matter.

Questions Raised on Trinamool MPs

Malviya also targeted several Trinamool Congress MPs who had promoted the alleged fake news. He demanded that these MPs delete their posts and issue a public apology. In his tweet, Malviya said, "It is clear that Mamata Banerjee and her entire family have no interest in resolution or justice. After destroying the evidence, they want to discredit and nullify the protest by any means and move forward as if the rape and murder of a young female doctor never happened."

Demand for Mamata Banerjee's Removal

At the end of his tweet, Malviya launched a severe attack on Mamata Banerjee, stating that she is evil and must go. His statement could lead to a new twist in West Bengal politics, especially as the situation remains tense due to the ongoing doctors' protest in the state.
