Sharvari Shines in 35-Year-Old Kanjeevaram Saree for Ganesh Chaturthi

New Delhi:Actress Sharvari made a striking impression this Ganesh Chaturthi by donning a special Kanjeevaram saree, which holds a rich family history. The saree, a deep purple Kanjeevaram, has been passed down through generations, originally worn by her grandmother 35 years ago before being inherited by her mother and then by Sharvari.
In a heartfelt social media post, Sharvari shared her enthusiasm for the festival and her cherished attire. "Ganpati Bappa Morya. The most magical time of the year and my moooooosssst favourite festival is here!" she wrote. She continued, "My saree this year is a 35-year-old Kanjivaram saree passed down from my Aaji to my Aai and to me today." The actress concluded her post with a note of gratitude, "Grateful and thankful for this year. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi."
On the professional front, Sharvari is set to make waves with her upcoming film Alpha, which marks the first female-led entry in the YRF spy universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film also stars Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. The YRF spy universe includes notable titles such as Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War, and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. The next chapter in this franchise, War 2, will feature Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
In anticipation of Alpha, Sharvari shared behind-the-scenes photos from the film set, expressing her excitement with the caption, "Love, Alpha." The images also feature her co-star Alia Bhatt, offering a glimpse into their on-set camaraderie.
Sharvari made her acting debut with the crime comedy Bunty Aur Babli 2, directed by Varun V Sharma. This year, she has had a busy schedule with multiple releases, including Munjya, Maharaj, and Vedaa
