Gold Becomes Cheaper on the First Day of the Year, Silver Also Loses Its Shine

New Delhi, January 1 : On the first day of the year 2025, gold prices have dropped in the domestic bullion market. Similarly, silver prices also saw a decline today. Due to the weakness in gold prices, 24-carat gold is being traded in most of the country’s bullion markets between ₹77,710 and ₹77,560 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold is being sold between ₹71,250 and ₹71,100 per 10 grams. Silver prices have also fallen by ₹2,000 per kilogram today. As a result, silver is trading at ₹90,500 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the capital city of Delhi, 24-carat gold is trading at ₹77,710 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹71,250 per 10 grams. In the economic capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold is being sold at ₹77,560 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹71,100 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold is ₹77,610 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold is ₹71,150 per 10 grams. Apart from these major cities, in Chennai, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹77,560 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is at ₹71,100 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold is also trading at ₹77,560 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹71,100 per 10 grams.

In the bullion market of Lucknow, 24-carat gold is trading at ₹77,710 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is priced at ₹71,250 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold is ₹77,610 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹71,150 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Jaipur, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹77,710 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is at ₹71,250 per 10 grams.

As in other states, the prices of gold have also fallen in Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold is trading at ₹77,560 per 10 grams today. Similarly, in the bullion markets of these cities, 22-carat gold is being sold at ₹71,100 per 10 grams.
