Google India and Google Cloud Renew Office Leases in Mumbai’s BKC at Rs 320 per Square Foot

Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai: In a significant move, Google India and Google Cloud have renewed their office leases in Mumbai's commercial hub, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), reinforcing their commitment to the city. According to Square Yards, Google India has secured 1.11 lakh square feet of office space at a monthly rent of Rs 3.55 crore. Similarly, Google Cloud India has renewed its lease for 38,678 square feet at a monthly rent of Rs 1.24 crore.
Both leases, signed in February 2025, are located in the prestigious First International Financial Center (FIFC) in BKC, a sprawling commercial development covering 1.99 acres. The agreed rent stands at Rs 320 per square foot per month, with an escalation clause that stipulates a 15% increase after 36 months. Additionally, Google India has paid a security deposit of Rs 9.64 crore.
The renewed leases highlight the growing demand for prime office spaces in Mumbai, particularly in BKC, a key business district.
