Kalyan: Man Kills Cousin Over Property Dispute, Arrested

Kalyan, Maharashtra:  A property dispute turned deadly in Kalyan (East) as a man allegedly shot and stabbed his cousin to death on Wednesday night in the Kolsewadi area.

The victim, Ranjit Dubey, and the accused, Ram Sagar Dubey, had an ongoing conflict over a piece of land in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. Police revealed that both had a criminal history in UP and had previously served jail time.

Eyewitnesses reported that around 11:30 PM, an argument between the two escalated. Ram Sagar allegedly shot Ranjit in the head and then stabbed him eight times.

Kolsewadi Police arrested Ram Sagar in the early hours of Thursday and have registered a murder case against him.
