Mumbai: 19-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Missing Child Case

Mumbai: A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a nine-year-old boy near a graveyard in Mumbai. The incident came to light when the child was reported missing, prompting a swift investigation by the Mumbai police.

Authorities reviewed CCTV footage and traced the suspect, who was taken into custody on Wednesday night. The accused, a native of Bihar working in a Thane godown, had allegedly approached the child near a railway station.

The police have registered a case and initiated further investigations, including forensic examinations. Officials are also checking if the accused has any prior records. He has been presented before a local court and is currently in police custody.
