Mumbai Cop Candidate Caught in High-Tech Cheating Scam: ‘Munna Bhai MBBS 2.0’ Drama Unfolds

Mumbai: In a bizarre twist worthy of a 'Munna Bhai MBBS' scene, a Mumbai Police trainee was caught red-handed using a high-tech ear microphone device to cheat in a written exam. The 22-year-old trainee, Krishna Dalvi, was attempting to join the Mumbai Police when his suspicious behavior raised the alarm at the Raigad Military School Examination Centre in Jogeshwari West.
Dalvi was using the device to communicate with two accomplices, Sachin Bawaskar and Pradeep Rajput, who were providing answers remotely. After the cheating method was uncovered, the Oshiwara Police seized crucial evidence including a mobile phone, SIM card, and the ear mic used for the operation. A case has been filed against all involved parties.
In a separate crime update, Mumbai's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) is investigating a Ponzi scheme run by Ukrainian nationals Artem and Olena Stoin, who defrauded investors in the Torres jewellery scam. Promises of sky-high returns through investments in gemstones, gold, and silver lured numerous victims, while luxury cars were used to entice further investors. The EOW is currently probing the scandal and tracking down the owners of the luxury vehicles involved.
