Mumbai, India: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has arrested a Brazilian woman at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) for allegedly smuggling liquid cocaine worth ₹11 crore.

Acting on intelligence inputs, DRI Mumbai officers intercepted the passenger arriving from São Paulo, Brazil. A personal search led to the discovery of seven pouches stitched inside her inner clothing, containing a viscous liquid that tested positive for cocaine.

A total of 1,110 grams of liquid cocaine was recovered and seized under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The woman has been arrested, and further investigations are underway.
