Mumbai Set to Host Historic WAVES 2025 Summit at BKC

Mumbai, April 30 : Mumbai is poised to become the epicenter of the global entertainment industry as it prepares to host the inaugural edition of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 from May 1 to May 4 at the Jio World Centre, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).

The grand event will be officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, underscoring its significance on both national and international levels. He will be joined by top dignitaries including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and Industries Minister Uday Samant.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), CM Fadnavis expressed his excitement, stating, “Mumbai is all set for this historic event.” His message reflects the state’s readiness and enthusiasm to welcome global delegates and showcase India’s growing influence in the creative sector.

WAVES 2025, organized by the Government of India, is expected to draw participants from over 100 countries, making it one of the largest gatherings of its kind. The summit will bring together industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and thought leaders from across the globe to explore the future of media, entertainment, and technology.
