Mumbai Weather Update for April 4: Humidity Rises, Clear Skies Ahead, Says IMD

Mumbai:  Mumbaikars started their day early on Friday, April 4, with a humid morning following light showers earlier in the week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted clear skies throughout the day and has not issued any rainfall alerts.

Despite no rain today, humidity continues to stay high, hovering around 71%, offering little relief from the muggy conditions. The minimum temperature recorded yesterday was 24°C, while the maximum touched 31°C. The sun is expected to set at 6:53 PM.

Air Quality Alert:
Mumbai’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stands at 90, falling under the ‘satisfactory’ category. While the general population may not be affected, sensitive individuals could experience mild respiratory discomfort. For reference, an AQI below 50 is considered good, while readings above 300 are deemed hazardous.

With clear skies but rising humidity, residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor exposure during peak hours, especially those sensitive to air quality.
