Navi Mumbai: 21-Year-Old Dies in Motorcycle Crash While Transporting Blood Samples

Navi Mumbai, India: A 21-year-old man, Virpal Narayan Girase, lost his life in a motorcycle accident near Navi Mumbai Airport early Tuesday morning while transporting blood samples from Panvel to Ulwe.
Girase, a resident of Panvel originally from Jalgaon, worked at Phoenix Hospital in Ulwe. Around 3 AM, while returning from Panvel after collecting blood samples, he lost control of his motorcycle near Waghivli village on the Ambuja Cement Company road. His bike veered into a ditch, causing fatal injuries.
The Ulwe police have registered a case against the deceased, citing negligent riding as the cause of the accident. “Investigations revealed that excessive speed and lack of control led to the crash,” a police officer said.
