NIA Court Grants Interim Bail to Mahesh Raut for Law Exams

Mumbai: The special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court has granted interim bail to Mahesh Raut in the Elgar-Parishad case, allowing him to appear for his law exams from April 20 to May 16.

Raut will be released on a personal bond of ₹50,000 with a surety of the same amount. As per court directives, he must submit his residential address and keep his mobile phone active, allowing the NIA to monitor his whereabouts.

Additionally, the court has permitted him to appear for an ATKT exam on April 4 and a viva-voce and assignment presentation on April 9, under police escort.
