PM Modi & PM Sanchez to Inaugurate India's First Private Military Aircraft Facility

New Delhi : On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will inaugurate the Tata-Airbus facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. This facility will be the first private sector final assembly line for military aircraft in India and is a crucial step towards building a complete ecosystem for manufacturing, assembling, and maintaining these planes. A total of 56 aircraft will be built at this facility, with a joint contribution from Airbus and Tata Advanced Systems.
The two leaders will also hold a roadshow en route to the facility before visiting the Laxmi Vilas Palace for a bilateral meeting. PM Modi will then travel to Amreli to inaugurate various developmental projects, showcasing the strong ties between India and Spain.
This inauguration marks an important milestone in the defense industry of India and is a testament to the growing cooperation between the two nations.
