Salim Khan Addresses Baba Siddique's Murder and Rumors Connecting It to Salman Khan

Mumbai: Veteran lyricist Salim Khan has broken his silence regarding the recent murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, which has raised speculations about a possible connection to his son, actor Salman Khan. Siddique was shot dead on the night of October 12 outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai's upscale Bandra area.

In an interview with ABP News, Salim Khan dismissed the rumors linking his son's name to the murder, stating, "Nahi, mujhe nahi lagta hai ki isse koi taluk hai. Isse koi taluk nahi hai, mujhe nahi lagta. Baba Siddique ka isse kya taluk hoga?" He emphasized that it is easy to fabricate stories and questioned the logic behind the connection, saying, “Aapne humko salaam nahi kiya, ab hum aapko maar denge” (You didn’t greet me, so I will kill you).

When asked about the narrative suggesting that Baba Siddique was killed for trying to protect Salman from alleged threats posed by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Salim reiterated that there was no substantial basis for such claims. He noted, "Har koi bachana chahta hai... Zindagi jo hai kabhi bhi ja sakti hai, kisi ki bhi jasakti hai" (Everyone wants to save him... Anyone can lose their life anytime).

The murder of Baba Siddique has sent shockwaves through the political and entertainment circles in Mumbai. Following the incident, two shooters have been arrested, and further arrests have been made for providing firearms and logistical support to the assailants. In total, nine individuals have been detained in connection with the case, with police linking the conspiracy to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to uncover the full extent of the circumstances surrounding Baba Siddique's murder, as the community seeks justice and clarity in this high-profile case.
