Salman Khan to Import ₹2-Crore Bulletproof Car Following Fresh Death Threats

Mumbai: Amid escalating threats to his life from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly investing in a bulletproof vehicle to enhance his security. This decision comes in the wake of renewed death threats following the recent murder of his friend and political leader Baba Siddique.
According to sources from Bollywood Society, Khan is set to import a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV from Dubai at an estimated cost of ₹2 crore. The vehicle, which is not available in the Indian market, features advanced safety measures including explosive alert indicators and thick glass shields designed to withstand point-blank bullet shots. Its camouflage black shades further enhance the security by preventing identification of the driver and passengers.
Salman had previously imported another bulletproof vehicle from the UAE last year after he and his father, Salim Khan, received initial threats from the Bishnoi gang. The recent increase in security measures comes as Khan prepares to return to the sets of Bigg Boss 18, where he will be filming the weekend special episodes. Heavy security has been implemented on the set, with over 60 personnel deployed to ensure safety.
Last week, Mumbai Police received a threatening message demanding ₹5 crore, warning that failure to comply would result in dire consequences for Salman Khan, likening his fate to that of Baba Siddique. In light of these threats, access to the Bigg Boss compound has been restricted, and guards are verifying identities before allowing entry.
As the investigation into Siddique's murder continues, and with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility, Salman Khan is taking every precaution to safeguard his life and continue his work in the entertainment industry.
