Several Trains Cancelled Due to OHE Breakdown at Palghar

Palghar, June 20: Railway operations were severely disrupted on Friday following an Overhead Equipment (OHE) breakdown near Palghar station. As a result, multiple suburban and long-distance trains were cancelled, causing inconvenience to commuters travelling between Dahanu Road, Vasai Road, and Mumbai. 

According to a communication from Central Train Control (CTNL), the following trains scheduled for June 20, 2025, were cancelled: Train 69161 from Boisar (BSR) to Dahanu Road (DRD) was cancelled. Additionally, its return rake from DRD to Virar (VR) was also called off. The same rake will be moved to Bhayandar (BYR) for stabling and will operate as Train 69143 on June 21 from Virar to Sanjan (SJN). Train 19102 from Dahanu Road to Virar. Train 69173 from Virar to Dahanu Road. 

Train 69140 from Dahanu Road to Virar. Train 19101, which runs between Virar and Bharuch (VR-BH), will remain cancelled between Virar and Dahanu Road on June 21. Train 93033 from Virar to Dahanu Road. Train 93039 from Virar to Dahanu Road. Railway officials confirmed that efforts are underway to restore the affected section at the earliest. Emergency maintenance teams have been deployed to carry out the necessary repairs to the damaged OHE infrastructure. Commuters are advised to check the latest train status before planning their journey. Updates will be provided through official railway channels and station announcements.
