Train Services Disrupted on Western Railway Due to OHE Snag Near Palghar

Palghar, June 20: Rail services on the Western Railway route were disrupted on Thursday evening following a technical snag in the Overhead Equipment (OHE) wire near Palghar. The issue was reported around 18:55 hrs, causing delays and affecting the movement of several trains in the region. According to railway authorities, a tower wagon was promptly dispatched to the site, and restoration work began immediately under the supervision of senior railway officials. Efforts are underway to restore normalcy at the earliest. 

A spokesperson for Western Railway stated that every possible measure is being taken to ensure a swift resumption of services. "Our teams are on-site, and the restoration work is progressing on a war footing. We expect services to resume shortly," the official said. Passengers are advised to check for real-time updates through official railway communication channels before commencing their journeys. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
