Sweden: Shooting at School in Örebro, 10 Dead, Police Launch Investigation

Stockholm, February 4 : A serious shooting incident occurred at a school in Örebro, Sweden, on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the deaths of 10 people and several others being injured. After the incident, the police cordoned off the area and launched a large-scale search operation.
Sweden's Minister of Justice, Gunnar Strömmer, called it a concerning event and stated that the police are fully engaged in investigating the matter, while the government is closely monitoring the situation.
According to local media, a teacher reported seeing some suspicious students on the premises and hearing around 10 rounds of gunfire.
The educational center primarily caters to students over the age of 20, offering Swedish language education to immigrants. During the incident, students were safely moved to a nearby building, and the entire premises were evacuated.
The police have stated that preliminary investigations suggest the incident appears to be planned and was carried out with the intent to create fear. Currently, two police teams are searching for the attacker, and surveillance in the entire area has been increased.
