Tragedy on Nashik-Mumbai Highway: Tempo-Truck Collision Claims 6 Lives, 5 Injured

Nashik: A horrifying accident on the Nashik-Mumbai Highway flyover on Sunday resulted in the deaths of six people, while five others sustained injuries. Nashik Police reported that two of the injured are in critical condition and are receiving urgent medical attention at the district hospital.

The collision involved a tempo and a mini-truck. Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the incident, working to assist the injured and transport them to safety.

“Six people have lost their lives in this unfortunate accident, and five others are injured, out of which two are critical. Medical care is being provided at the district hospital,” stated a police official.

The incident has raised concerns about road safety on the busy Nashik-Mumbai Highway, a major artery in the state of Maharashtra. Further investigations are underway to determine the cause of the collision.
