Tragic Juhu Incident: Toddler Dies After College Student’s Unfortunate Fall

Mumbai, Juhu: A heart-wrenching incident in Mumbai’s Juhu locality has claimed the life of a two-year-old girl, Vidhi, after a college student, Harshad Gaurav, accidentally fell on her during a playful moment with a friend.

The tragic event occurred on January 2 near a shop owned by Vidhi’s family. Despite her mother's warnings for the boys to stop playing near the toddler, Gaurav lost his balance and fell, causing the child severe head injuries. Vidhi was rushed to Cooper Hospital but succumbed on January 4 after battling for two days.

Following the father’s complaint, Juhu police have filed an FIR under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for causing death by negligence. Investigations are ongoing.
