Trump-Modi Talks: Trade, Tariffs, and Visas Take Center Stage

When Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Washington later this week to meet President Donald Trump, the two leaders will focus on strengthening the US-India strategic partnership. Known for their strong personal rapport, Modi and Trump have shared interests in countering China and boosting bilateral cooperation. Throughout the talks, both leaders will emphasize maintaining a positive tone, with the Indo-Pacific Quad partnership between the US, India, Japan, and Australia taking center stage as a shared priority.

Modi’s visit is poised to further strengthen the US-India relationship, with a focus on trade, energy, and security, while also addressing delicate issues that require diplomatic finesse.
