Woman Detained for Threatening to Kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Mumbai, 28 November : A woman who allegedly threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been detained by the Mumbai police. The woman is currently being interrogated. The police have also informed the Prime Minister’s office about the threatening call.
According to police sources, a female caller contacted the Central Control Room in Mumbai and claimed that there was a plan to kill Prime Minister Modi. After making this statement, the caller abruptly hung up. The call was investigated, and the woman, identified as Sheetal Chavan, was taken into custody. The police are now questioning her to ascertain the truth behind the threatening call.
At present, there is significant political activity in Maharashtra due to the formation of a new government. The swearing-in ceremony of the new government is expected to see the presence of several central leaders, including Prime Minister Modi, as well as Chief Ministers from various states. Due to this, the Mumbai police have become alert regarding the threatening phone call.
